Douglas Fletcher

Bob was a wonderful down to earth man. He even taught me how to shoot what he called "A Real Gun". It was a 300 Magnum Weatherbee as I recall. He warned me to be careful of the kick when I pulled the trigger stating that several people had been injured by the rim of the scope. I informed him that I had been shooting guns almost since I could walk and wouldn't make a rookie mistake like that! Just before I pulled the trigger he cautioned me that I might want to pull my head back just a bit but I felt certain I was fine. When I touched it off I hit the target and the scope hit my eyebrow leaving behind a perfect semi-circle cut. He was quite sympathetic and sorry that I was hurt but I had the sneaking suspicion he really would have liked to laugh at me. RIP Bob Doug Fletcher Maine Wood Turning, Inc.
