The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Heinz Moes can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

The Moes had a most wonderful remote cabin in Maine. Hank had heard I was a winter camper and needed someone to shovel the roof. That started a long friendship and professional relationship. I was soon invited to come north to meet the family. Hank, Joan and Jen invited me, a stranger, into their home on Christmas Eve for amazing fondue and martinis, followed by a splendid Roast Beast dinner. It was a memorable Christmas and I became friends with Hanks wonderful family too. Hank was one of the most affable people I have ever met. A great Engineer, outdoorsman, traveler, organizer and outgoing caring individual. He always made everyone feel welcome. I offer my sincere condolences to Joan, Jennifer and the boys. Thank you my friend for the help, the advice, the adventures and the good times.
