Dad, I know you have been so lonely without Mom. Thank you for sticking around with us these last 10 years without her. Thank you for your years of hard work whether it was hand sewing shoes or on a construction site or baling hay on those hot summer days. You always worked hard to provide and I appreciate all those years. Those last few years in the nursing home were not your favorite times. I know that, but at least I was able to visit with your regularly. We would people watch together and sneak snacks from the snack cart 🎂. I wonder if they would leave the snack cart next to you on purpose so you could have as much as you wanted. Thanks for the many life lessons and advice when I needed it. You were a good Dad. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. Go square dance with Mom and eat as much vanilla ice cream 🍧 as you want. You deserve it. Love you forever and always , Dierdre ❤❤
