Obituary for Patricia Howard

WILTON-Patricia V. Howard, 68, of Phillips, died late Tuesday evening, June 7, 2011 at her son’s home in Wilton. She was born in Industry on June 15, 1942, a daughter of, Chester and Dorcas (Gilbert) Kennedy. She attended local schools, graduating from Farmington High School. Pat worked at G.H. Bass, Maine Dowel and most recently at Orchard Park in Farmington. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, camping, gardening and hummingbirds. She is survived by her children, Douglas Howard, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Chesterville, Debra Howard and her fiancé, Chris of Phillips and Darryl Howard and his girlfriend, Darlene Tyler of Wilton; six grandchildren, J.D., Natasha, Nathaniel, Chestine, Alexis and Chelsey Howard; two siblings, Peggy Alexander and her husband, Bob of Farmington and Alton Kennedy and his wife, Janet of Industry; several nieces and nephews. Words of condolence and tribute may be shared with Pat’s family at www.wilesrc.com. Memorial visitation will be held, 5-7 PM, Wed., June, 15, 2011 at the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service & Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington. Private family interment will be at the East New Portland Cemetery. Gifts may be given in her memory to the Oncology Dept. at Franklin Memorial Hospital, 111 Franklin Health Commons, Farmington, ME 04938.
