MADISON-Joseph F. “Joey” Daoust, 27, of Wilton, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, May 28, 2014 in Madison. He was born on Mar. 7, 1987, in Houlton, a son of Conrad and TerrI Lynn (Lloyd) Daoust, Jr. He attended schools in East Grand and Jay. Joey enjoyed working on his truck, working alongside his father, but especially time spent with his family and son, Noah. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. Joey is survived by his fiancé, Pam Swett and their son, Noah of Wilton; his parents, Conrad and Terri Lynn Daoust of Wilton; maternal grandmother, Vivian “Nana” Lloyd of Weston; his “in-laws,” David and Roxanne Swett of East Dixfield; siblings, Rodney Daoust of Mexico, Conrad Daoust, III of Chesterville, Wendy Collins of Chesterville, Audrey Daoust and her companion, Jon Richard of Wilton, Darcie Daoust of Wilton, and Steven “Squeak” Daoust of Solon; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces; close friends, Matt Soha, Andrew “Drew” Deering and Kris Allen. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Conrad and Eualia Daoust; maternal grandfather, Donald “Papa” Lloyd; a sister, Julie Ilene Daoust Fitch. Visitation will be from 5-7PM, Wed., June 4, 2014 at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton. Funeral services will be at the center, 1PM, Thu., June 5, 2014 with Pastor Barry Trask, officiating. Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton.
