Lewiston – Jean F. Dyke, 92, of Hartford, died early Saturday morning at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Farmington, Jan. 13, 1920 a daughter of Arthur W. and Ida May (Thompson) Farrand and received her education in Canton schools. On Sept. 24, 1938, she married John Dyke in Livermore. She worked for many years at Adams Poultry Farm, Livermore Shoe, and at Turner Farms packing eggs. She loved flowers and her garden and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, John of Hartford; a son, John L. Dyke and his wife Rose of Dixfield; a daughter, Linda May Green and her husband, Richard of Hartford; grandchildren, John, Matthew, Jason, Amanda, Melissa, Aaron, and Valorie; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Courtney, Nicholas, Brittany, Alexandria, Paige, Anson, Matthew, Jr., Michael, Mackenzie, Rachel, Mariel, Abigail, and Audrey; one great-great grandson, Owen; She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur; a sister, Madge; and a grandson, Christopher. Condolences and tributes may be shared with the family at www.wilesrc.com. Dyke – died at Lewiston, Saturday, May 26, 2012, Jean F. Dyke, 92, of Hartford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Wiles Remembrance Center 42 Weld Street, Dixfield. Relatives and friends are invited to call one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Canton.
