The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Christopher Allen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Phil Griswold, Asst Dean,UMF
Condolence: I met Chris in the UMF Rec. Center's weight room. I asked him for some advice about lifting. That led to regular conversations when we met there. He was generous with his time and very willing to share his knowledge. I learned a good deal about strategies... I needed all the help I could get. We also shared interests in nutrition. I looked forward to our small meetings, discussing what was new in fitness. He was so very positive with such a good mood, and a welcoming smile. I wish I could have known him better, perhaps in one of my classes even.

Condolence: Chris was one of the nicest, happiest students I have ever had. His quiet, good cheer was always a welcome presence in my classroom. Everyone liked and respected this young man, and even though he did not speak often, when he did it was worth listening to. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Chris will be missed tremendously. It is never easy to loose such a young person, but rest assured that he made a difference in many lives. My prayers are with you all.

Condolence: I first met the Allen family in 1988 -- Christopher was a small boy and he always had a smile on his face. I have fond memories of him running around the fairgrounds helping his parents and other car club members set up for the Country Classics Car Shows. I am truly sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences go out to Phil, Melissa and Nic. (and also to Christopher's wife -- although I had lost touch with the Allen family and never had the pleasure of meeting her.) May the love of God carry you through this difficult time... Amy Byron Livermore ME
