Obituary for Brian Sr.

WILTON—Brian Martin Bubier Sr., 74, of Wilton, died November 5, 2014 at his home in Wilton. Brian was born September 2, 1940, a son of Basil and Frances (Dimond) Bubier. During high school, he was a skilled athlete, lettering in all sports in which he participated. Upon graduating High School in 1958, he enrolled in the United States Navy where he served his country for four years. After his service in the military, Brian began working as a hand-sewer for G.H. Bass Shoe Company. Brian was a skilled carpenter and craftsman and enjoyed the Maine outdoors. He is survived by his children: Brian Martin Bubier Jr. of Norway, Shanda Bubier of Monmouth, Stephanie Bubier of Monmouth, and Scarlett Birch of Monmouth; grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew and Brittany; and a niece and nephew. He was pre-deceased by a son, Eric Bubier and a sister, Connie Adams. Services for Brian will be private. Arrangements are under the care of Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St. Wilton, ME.
