Condolence From: Deborah Gildart-Hanks
Condolence: Arlene was my next-door neighbor at Ranger's Trailer Park in Wilton. We sang together in choir at Wilton UMC, and I considered her a much-loved "aunt." I have not been home often in recent years, but enjoyed visiting with her whenever I did. She was a love, and so giving to everyone. Se will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. I will miss her deeply... Deborah Gildart-Hanks

Condolence: Arlene certainly was a kind and faithful woman. When I first started serving the Wilton church as the pastor, she was the financial secretary and also kept the records for Memorial gifts. She was a truly a person of faith and underwent several critical surgeries, which she bravely faced and recovered from completely. Cats were her favorite animals. She actually brought Penny home after her very old cat passed away. She was woman who always had a smile and a kindly glimmer in her eye. God bless you Arlene as you are welcomed into your home made not with human hands but with heavenly hands. Peace be with you, Rev. Michele St. Cyr

Condolence: For several years I delivered books from the Wilton library to Arlene every couple of weeks. It was always a joy to visit with her and her much loved cat, Penny, who would talk to us as we visited. Penny's antics made us laugh a lot. Arlene was an avid reader who would often read more than a dozen books a month. She deeply loved her community and her church. I will very much miss her kind and gentle spirit and feel blessed to have known her. My heartfelt sympathy is with her family and friends. Sincerely, Lynne Hunter
