Obituary for Alice Crowley

Weld – Alice S. Crowley, 96, Boston Post Cane Holder of Weld, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2014 at her home in Weld. She was born Sept. 13, 1917 in Dover, NH, the youngest of 14 children to Louis and Clara (Dandeneau) Spencer. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband and traveled around the world with her family and even traveled to Montana to visit family last year. Alice loved to visit her many grandchildren, great grand children, and great great grandchildren. She was a lively and spirited lady and always left an impression to all those she met. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Crowley, III and her son, James B. Crowley. She is survived by a son John H. Crowley, IV, six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. Alice will be buried nest to her husband at Mountain View Cemetery in Weld. The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice and Trudy for the great care she received. Condolences and tributes may be shared on her memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com. Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, assisted the family with their cremation services.
