Obituary for William Sinkinson
INDUSTRY - William Robert Sinkinson, known as Bill or Billy, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024. He was born on September 8, 1951 in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of the late Richard & Barbara (Sherwood) Sinkinson.
Billy attended UCSB, UCSC and worked in the Culinary Arts profession. He was a collegiate swimmer and he loved to surf. Billy loved to play disc golf and bocce ball with his girls. He loved to read, watch tv and movies, have discussions about shows and sports. Billy loved to have a laugh and share his love of music with his family and friends. He will be missed by his proud daughters, family, friends and the animals he watched from his home.
Billy is survived by daughters: Brook and Megan Sinkinson Withrow; siblings: Michael Sinkinson and Shannon Haig, Cay and Michael Lichtenwalter, Pam and Jim Mayo; nieces & nephews: Jeff and Jen Sinkinson, Billy and Amy Sinkinson, Brian and Lindsay Lichtenwalter, Sarah and Bradley Davis, Doug Lichtenwalter, Ben Mayo and Liz Hagstrom.
At the family’s request services will be private in the Spring of 2024. Family and friends are invited to visit Billy’s Book of Memories at www.wilesrc.com to share your memories, stories or words of sympathy. Cremation care and arrangements are under the direction of Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
