Obituary for Vince "Tony" Wilder

JAY – Vince (Tony) Anthony Wilder, 57 of Jay passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1966 the son of Basil Wilder and Lianna Boynton.

Tony was a self-employed mechanic and a property manager in Jay. He enjoyed helping folks out and working in his garage on various projects. He loved to spend time outside, in the woods and recently started to help his dear friend, Jason with his maple syrup operation. Tony loved his family, he would facetime with his grandchildren in North Dakota, listen to their stories and watch them grow. On Wednesday nights he would have movie night and cooking lessons with Emmett and Kayleigh. He was a loving, kind and funny man who will be missed terribly.

Tony is survived by son, Steven Wilder (Teri) and their children, Stevie Ann, Michael and Charlie of Dickinson, ND; his daughter, Jennifer Dalton and her children, Emmett and Kayleigh of Jay; his mother Lianna Macguire (Fred), his sister, Tracy Wilder and Warren, his brother, Evan and his children, Dustin, Joseph, Tony and Ariya, his dear friend, Carol Wilder of Parshall, ND and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tony was predeceased by his beloved dog, Bruno and his maternal and paternal grandparents, Elmer Boynton (Evelyn) and Maurice Wilder (Beverly).

Family and friends are invited to Tony’s Celebration of Life at Emmanuel Assembly of God (4 Fayette RD, Livermore Falls, ME) on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 1 to 3 pm.
