Obituary for Thomas Deckard-Madore

Sandy River Plantation - Thomas Deckard-Madore, 17, of Strong died Monday evening as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Sandy River Plantation. He was born in Farmington, July 24, 2003, a son of Jason Madore and Samantha Deckard. He was currently a member of the Senior Class at Mt. Abram High School where he was a member of the Boy's Varsity Basketball Team. He enjoyed fishing, nature walks, 4-wheeling, basketball, baseball, swimming, and social networking. Thomas had a great passion for his teammates, classmates and coaches; His smile and sense of humor touched everyone he came in contact with. He loved listening to life stories with Gumpy on their many adventures.
He is survived by his great aunt and uncle Kelly and Rick Norton with whom he resided; Great-grandparents Kenneth and Shirley Beane of Strong; Grandmother Judith Deckard of Farmington; Great-Grandmother Bonnie Bell of Farmington; Great-grandparents Robert(Bob)and Ellen Stevens of Dixfield; Grandparents Donna and Todd Trask of Strong; Grandparents Norman and Lisa Madore of New Sharon; Uncle Christopher Deckard of Indiana; Aunt Tiffany Deckard of Farmington; Aunt Jessica Swett of Jay; Uncle Jordan Millet of Strong; Aunt Danielle Offord of Jay; Uncle Bj Madore of South Carolina; Siblings, Brenden Williamson of Strong, Shyanne Madore, Miah Deckard, Kendrick Williamson, Jaydan Madore of Farmington. He was predeceased by Grandfather Mark Deckard, and sister, Mahogany Madore. Memorial donations in Thomas' memory may be made to the Thomas Deckard-Madore Scholarship, School Counseling Office, Mt.
