Obituary for Theodore Carrier

Lewiston - Theodore L. “Ted” Carrier, 80, formerly of Dixfield, died Saturday afternoon, January 28, at Montello Manor in Lewiston. Ted flew from this earth on angel’s wings to join all the loved ones that went before him.

Ted followed his father into the Navy, and his proudest achievement was serving his country. He spent his entire career with the U.S. Navy. During Vietnam, Ted served with courage and valor on the U.S.S Enterprise, the world’s first nuclear aircraft carrier where he rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Ted was a great guy and a friend, father and brother for life, all that crossed his path, loved him. He will be greatly missed but has earned his place at God’s right hand in heaven.

Ted left his beloved wife, Katherine and their three sons, Leo, Preston and Christopher; Three grandchildren, Keaton, Hayden and Emily and two great grandsons; He also leaves behind four sisters, Charlene, Germaine, Bernadette and Michele.

Public memorial services will be held on Friday at 1 pm at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington preceded by a memorial visitation from Noon until the time of services.
