Lewiston - Stanley Gordon, 83, of Turner, passed away Monday, March 7, at CMMC. He was born May, 28, 1938 and retired from the Maine Dept. of Transportation in 1993, as a grader operator. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, repairing engines, talking on the phone with family and friends, and spending time with his beloved dog, Lucky.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-years, Robena of Turner; his children, Cindy Mandigo of Jay, Cheryl Eye and her husband, Sean of Portland, Julie Williams and her husband, Kevin of Portland, Terri Opia Perry, and Brent Libby, both of Turner; siblings, Russell Gordon and his wife, Brenda and Linda St. Laurent and her husband, Norman. He was predeceased by his first wife, Judy; sons, Chuck and Craig; sisters, Marion Singer, Helen Fitzherbert, and Roberta Mason.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be considered in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association of Maine, US Route #1, #2C, Scarborough, ME, 04074. There will be no services per his wishes.
