Obituary for Ronald Millett

Farmington - Ronald "Ron" Millett, 67, of Winthrop, died early Friday morning at The Woodlands Senior Living Center in Farmington. He was born in Norway, November 16, 1954, a son of Roger and Helen "Stewart" Millett. He worked for many years in the HVAC industry, mostly for Honeywell Corporation. He enjoyed deer hunting, camping, and had an affinity for tractors and outdoor equipment. He attended various churches in western and central Maine over the years and had been an Eagle Scout in his younger years.
He is survived by his son, Chris Millett and his companion, Tarah Judd of Mt. Vernon; his mother, Helen of Turner; grand daughter, Hannah Millett of Mt. Vernon; 3 sisters, Diane Dunn and her husband, John of Turner, Terry Vickerson and her husband, Charlie of Turner, Julie Hausman and her husband, Randy of Turner; many nieces and nephews;
Public graveside services will be held on Friday, April 29 at 2 pm at the Turner Village Cemetery, Main Street, Turner. The family suggests that those who desire, consider memorial gifts in his memory to the Sportsmen's Alliance of Maine, 205 Church Hill Road, Augusta, ME 04330. Memories may be shared in his Book of Memories at ww.wilesrc.com. Cremation care and memorial services are being cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Jay.
