Obituary for Nancy Patenaude
Auburn - Nancy Jane Patenaude, 84, of the Ridge Road, Peru, died early Tuesday Morning, October 24, 2023 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in Rumford, July 24, 1939, a daughter of William and Annie (Hickey) Touchette and received her education in local schools and married Richard Patenaude in 1957. He died in 1993. She worked at local shoe shops and at Diamond Match for many years.
Nancy loved spending time with her family, going on excursions and trips, and going to Foxwoods and playing Bingo.
She is survived by two sons, Ed and Scott, both of Peru; and a brother, Maynard of Peru.
She was predeceased by two sons, Dick and David.
Private interment was at Demerritt Cemetery in Peru. Nancy asked that any memorial donations be considered to a charity of one's choice. Memories may be shared in her Book of Memories at www.wilesrc.com.
