Obituary for Michael Gatcomb
Dixfield – Michael W. Gatcomb, Jr., 38, of Dixfield, died early Monday morning, Oct. 31, 2022 at his home. He was born in Machias, Nov. 9, 1983, a son of Michael W. Gatcomb, Sr. and Darlene I. Holland and worked in the woods as a tipper. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and wild animals.
He is survived by his father of Jacksonville, ME; his mother, Darlene Ames and her husband, Fred of Fayette; children, Austin, Colby, and Camdynn; sister, Heather Brann of Lewiston; nieces, Crystal Gatcomb and Grace Given, both of Fayette; and a nephew, Payton Ross of Rangeley.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 pm outside at his mother’s home, 188 Baldwin Hill Road, Fayette. Cremation care has been cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
