Obituary for Lora Cotton

Lewiston - On May 6th, 2022, Lora Lee Cotton, age 64, of Peru, passed on after a long struggle at Central Maine Medical Center. Lora was born in Bangor, a daughter of Gardner and Elsie (Lindsey) Gray. She graduated from Sumner Memorial High School and continued her education at Northern Kentucky University and Westbrook Warren Theological Seminary. Lora was an active member in the Dixfield Congregational Church on The Hill. Lora lived out the remainder of her life peacefully in Peru with her family.

Lora is survived by her son Eric Cotton; her partner Derek Blodgett; brother Robert Gray and his wife Theresa; niece Robyn and her husband Thomas Heskett; nephew Tom Gray; cousins Judy (Phil Brzozowski) Schuppien, Carol Schuppien, Scott (Sandy) Davis, Michael (Linda) Davis, Bonnie (Davis) Nicholson, Kathy Lindsey, Jonathan (Vicky) Renwick, and Roxanne Renwick; her partners family, including but not limited to, Linda Comeau, Sandra Glazier, and Terri Cox, and friend Heidi Burnett. Lora was predeceased by her parents Gardner and Elsie (Lindsey) Gray; previous husband, David Cotton; aunts and uncles Walter and Violace Lindsey, Rusty and Joyce (Lindsey) Davis, Milton Gray, Barabara (Gray) Schuppien, Ralph and Joyce (Lindsey) Nash; and cousin Eric Nash.
