Kenneth P. Lockitt of Phillips, Maine, passed away January 19, 2023.

Born in 1958 in Manhattan, NY, Ken joined the family of Philip and June Lockitt in 1959, he was raised in Park Ridge, NJ. and graduated from Park Ridge High School and Rutgers University. Ken is survived by his sister, Sally, his brother, John, and nieces, Sara and Kaity. Ken is also survived by his close friends, Greg and Patti Blevins who became good friends after taking care of Maggie, his dog while Ken was in the hospital 7 or 8 years ago. Ken went through some very tough times with Maggie when she was found to have cancer and then when Ken was fighting his cancer over the last few years. Ken was a great animal lover, the love of his life Maggie, his dog predeceased him. He loved that dog dearly, they were always together, they sure took good care of each other. They are happy to be back together!

Ken was a very talented musician and singer, touring Europe and recording with the Sonny Rhodes Band. Ken also played with Bob White and The White Boys band, The Blue Plate Special Band and Ken even had his own band for a while, The Ken Lockitt Band.
