Obituary for Kathleen Lefebvre (Silva)

FARMINGTON - Kathleen Ann Lefebvre “Kathy Silva” passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 21,2023, at the age of 59.

Kathleen was born in Cambridge Massachusetts on December 6, 1963. The daughter of James and Barbara Silva.

Kathleen was a very caring and loving woman who always enjoyed caring for others. She worked for the State of Massachusetts as a Care Giver for adults with intellectual disabilities for many years. Later, once moving to Maine, she worked as a housekeeper for Sugarloaf and the Farmington Motel.

Kathleen loved spending time with her family outdoors and at the beach. Family was most important to her. She especially loved the time she was able to spend with her only grandson Beaux, whom she adored.

Kathleen is survived by her 3 children, her daughter, Ashley Smith and her partner, Mitchell York and their son Beaux of Farmington, son, David Smith and his wife, Jade of Madison and son, Clifford Flynn of Boston, Massachusetts. Former husband, Todd Lefebvre and his children, Ty and Chris.
Kathleen is also survived by her siblings, Florence Olivera, Micheal Silva, Edward Silva and his wife, Elieen, Maryetta Silva, James Silva and his wife, Christine, Emma Blouin and sister-in-law, Cindy Silva. Her best friends, Wayne of Farmington, Beanie Chamberlain of Farmington, and Joanne Keefe of Massachusetts. Kathleen is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Kathleen is predeceased by her parents, James and Barbara Silva, her sisters Lorraine and Barbara, her brother David Silva and her best friend, Lori Cousins.

A Memorial Prayer service will be held at Shorey Chapel United Church of Christ at 1109 Industry Rd, Industry, ME on Saturday, October 7,2023 from 1-2pm. Following the service there will be light refreshments at the home of Lisa Whitney at 27 Rand Rd in Industry.
