Obituary for Joshua Wilcox

Joshua Wade Wilcox passed away unexpectedly at his home in Rangeley Maine on March
29th 2022. Joshua is survived by his two beautiful children Abigail Wilcox and Bryce Wilcox of
Strong Maine. He is also survived by his parents, Donna Wilcox of Lewiston Maine, and
Jeffrey Wilcox of Oxford Maine.
Joshua has two sisters Dawn Wilcox of Norway Maine and Heather Wilcox of Winthrop
Maine, with a variety of nieces and nephews. He was always the fun Uncle and was loved by all
of them. Family events and celebrations were always more fun with Uncle Josh there!
Joshua loved his children with all his heart. The years he spent with them were the happiest
time in his life and a day never passed that they weren't on his mind, no matter where he was in
his journey.
Joshua loved to hunt and spent time in the woods since his youth thanks to his Uncle Bob.
He had a very close relationship with his Uncle Bob Wilcox and Aunt Bonnie Wilcox of Norway
Maine and was a beloved cousin to their daughters.
Joshua has resided in Rangeley for 7 plus years and built a life there for himself with his
partner Angela White and their beloved dog Coco. His presence is deeply missed by them
both.
Joshua has many friends that he has made in his 48 years and his laugh and love for life will
be truly missed by them all. Joshua loved to play sports, from softball to basketball, to bowling
and golf. His competitive nature and drive to win made him good at every sport he chose to
play. Joshua was an accomplished carpenter and an Extreme builder! He was amazing at what
he did, and you can see his work throughout the Rangeley area and beyond!
Please share memories and photos in his Book of Memories at www.wilesrc.com. and visit his Book of Memories for updates on a Celebration of Life Service. Joshua had recently played in a softball game to benefit the Specyial Olympics and family suggests instead of flowers or cards that remembrance gifts be given to local sports teams that benefit the younger generation in his honor. Please feel free to visit his memorial wall and leave happy memories, stories and pictures so that we can all remember him together.
Cremation services are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, Maine.
