Obituary for Jesse Shackley
New Sharon - Jesse W. Shackley, 45, of New Sharon, died unexpectedly, Thursday at his home. He was born in Frankfort, Germany, April 5, 1976, a son of Linwood and Wanda (Sargent) Shackley. He married Melissa Langstaff in Helena, MT, July 17, 2003.
Jesse worked at Stratham Tire and North American Van Lines for several years and had made his home in New Sharon with his family for the last several years, where he worked as a farmer on the Homestead until his unexpected passing. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, but also hunting, hiking, and gold panning. He also loved video games and was a Radio-Controlled vehicle enthusiast, having cars, boats, and several RC aircraft. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was fond of his dogs and cats.
He is loved by his wife, Melissa of New Sharon; daughters, Katy of New Sharon, Emily of TN, and Cara of Farmington; his parents of Litchfield; and a brother, Daniel of Lewiston.
