Obituary for Jeannine Williams

Skowhegan - Jeannine Perron Williams of Livermore ME peacefully passed on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 . She was born in Chisholm ME on November 21, 1927 to Aurelien Perron and Florence (Simoneau) Perron. She attended St. Rose School and graduated valedictorian from Jay High School in the class of 1946. She went to work for Western Union in Lewiston then transferred to Waterville and then White Plains, New York. After 6 years with Western Union she returned home and worked for IP Otis Mill until she retired in 1990. On April 18, 1964 she married James Williams and they relished 54 years marriage until his death in 2018. They enjoyed traveling having gone on cruises across the Panama Canal, Hawaii, Alaska and spent 3 weeks in Europe visiting with their son, Mark who was stationed in Germany. She was a communicant, sang in the choir and was a eucharistic minister at St. Rose of Lima. She and Jim were Sunday collection counters and she volunteered in the church office. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving are their children, Karen Hendren (Larry), of Laurel Hill, FL, Michael Williams, of Hill NH, Kevin Williams, of Livermore, ME, Janet Buote (Dan) of Livermore, ME and Mark Williams (Liz) of Weatherford TX. grandchildren Corri and Bryun Souther, Melissa Hendren, Brent, Chad and Jillian Buote, Adam and Beau Williams and Paige Browning; seven greatgrandchildren, brother Paul Perron of Parsippany, NJ, sisters Vivian Flagg of Brandon, FL, Claudette Warren of Fayetteville, AR and Pauline Barrutia of Mountain Home, ID.
She was preceded in death by her husband James L Williams of Livermore, ME; brother Dr. Roger Perron; sisters Rejeanne Paradis, Annette Richards and Aline Fawcett; and granddaughter Michele Hendren.
A service celebrating Jeannine's life will take place from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Church Street, Jay, ME at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 12. Memories may be shared in her Book of Memories at www.wilesrc.com. Cremation care has been cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Jay.
