Obituary for Jane Blair

Farmington – Annella (Jane) Gagnon, 78, formerly of Winthrop, died early Thursday morning at the Woodlands Assisted Living Center in Farmington. She was born in Saguache, CO, July 2, 1943, a daughter of Felix and Estella (Woodson) Galvez. She worked as an aide for many years in assisted living community. She enjoyed music, playing canasta, watching the Red Sox, bird watching, visiting the coast, and was a past member of the Lane Dube Amvets Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary-Margaret Rosario (Spokane, WA), Judy Reppert (Tatemy, PA) whom she stayed close to over the years; former in laws, Ruth Gagnon, Francis Gagnon and wife Susan; 2 daughters, Barbara Skidgel and husband Darrell of Augusta, Monique DiPompo and her husband, Freddie of Hartford; a son, John Gagnon and his wife, Krista of TN; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Field and her husband, Joshua, Becca Gagnon, Zackery Gagnon, and Brooklyn Gagnon; 3 great grandchildren, Chloe Field, Avery Field, and Samantha Gagnon all of TN; and many more nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Paul Gagnon and they made their home in Livermore; a son Robert Gagnon, 5 sisters; Juanita Galvez, Modesta Cole, Ruth Carter, Mamie Gomez, Elsie Jabbora, 2 brothers; John Galvez, Albert Galvez.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Woodlands and Androscoggin Home Health for their loving care. A graveside memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Livermore Falls in the spring with a date to be communicated to family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who desire consider memorial gifts to Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave., Lewiston, ME 04240.
