Obituary for Gary Dunaenko

Farmington – Gary Dunaenko, 76, of Rangeley Plantation, died late Thursday evening at Franklin Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ, Nov. 27, 1946, a son of Charles, Sr., and Helen (Kiskurno). On July 3, 1993, he married Rachel Doig at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, NJ.

He enjoyed fishing, swimming in Rangeley Lake, working outdoors, and was a member of the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, and the Vietnam Veterans of America.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel of Rangeley Plt; his daughter, Pamela Lovejoy, and her husband, David, and his beloved granddaughters, Charlotte and Sophia, all of Concord, NH; as well as his brother, Charles Dunaenko, Jr., of NJ.
Funeral services with US Army Honors will be held Saturday, May 27, at 2 pm at the Old Log Church in Oquossoc, with Rev. Tony McNaughton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Gary’s memory to an organization that helps America’s veterans, such as the VFW, the American Legion, or The Travis Mills Foundation.
