Obituary for E. Nora Farrington
Farmington - Elizabeth Nora Farrington 86, of Jay, passed away Saturday, February 12 at Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center. She was born February 19, 1935 in Rangeley, daughter of Charles B. and Elizabeth N. (Robertson) Harris
She married Thayden M. Farrington April 18, 1953. Together they raised two children Wanda and Thaydie and operated Thayden Farm Inc., a dairy farm.
She enjoyed researching genealogy and visiting cemeteries, sewing & knitting, watching birds, going for walks in the woods with her dogs and cats. She was an avid NASCAR fan.
She is loved by granddaughters: Jennifer Weston and her husband David of Jay, Carrie Farrington of Florida, Sarah Nicholas and her husband John of Temple, Jesse Mallett and her husband Robert of Industry; a son-in-law, Wayne Buzzell of Wilton; four great grandchildren: Dylan, Elizabeth, Tucker and Ben; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter: Wanda R. Farrington Buzzell; a son Thayden C. Farrington: brother Charles J. Harris and sister, Rachel Harris.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 22, at 11 am at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton. Memories may be shared in her Book of Memories at www.wilesrc.com. Cremation care and memorial services are being cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Farmington.
