Obituary for David Roden
David W. Roden, 51, of Carrabassett Valley, passed away July 26, 2021 in Carrabassett Valley. He was born February 10, 1970 in Hoboken, New Jersey, the son of David and Virginia (Vignola) Roden. He graduated from North Bergen High in 1988 and attended Kean University in NJ.
David went on to work a career in loss prevention for many years in many places around New England and New York.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, hiking, mountain biking and especially snowboarding. He truly loved spending time with his children and family. Dave was known best for his big heart, his musicality, his quick smile and his sense of humor.
He is predeceased by his parents and a sister Bonnie.
Dave is survived by his daughter Kathleen and son William Roden of Norridgewock, a sister Susan Klaube and her husband Ted of NJ, a nephew Erik Klaube and his wife Elizabeth and their children Kaia and Thea of CT, a niece Jessica Rein and her husband Robert of NJ, also his brother George Roden of NJ.
Cremation cared for by Wiles Remembrance Center: Adams-McFarlane Chapel 137 Farmington Falls Rd. Farmington. Donations may be made in his memory to NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness at the following link.
