Obituary for Corey Leppala

COREY ANDREW LEPPALA
10/25/1985 - 12/02/2022

FARMINGTON - On Friday December 2nd our beloved Corey went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, after a courageous battle with Type 1 Diabetes, with family by his side.

Corey was born on October 25th, 1985, to Pauline (Baxter) Gavin and Kenneth Leppala. He lived in Lisbon and attended Lisbon schools most of his childhood before moving to the Lewiston/Turner areas. He eventually settled with his family in Farmington.

Corey worked doing roofing, carpentry, towing and many other trades. He was a hard-working family man, intelligent, kind, and helpful to anyone who asked. A loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. He left a Corey shaped hole in our hearts that belongs just to him. Now it will be filled with memories. This world is a better place because you were here Corey. You are deeply loved and deeply missed.

Corey is survived by his wife, Rebecca St. Pierre-Leppala, sons, Jason Cyr, Lucas Leppala, and Kolton Leppala, father, Kenneth Leppala, mother and stepfather, Pauline and James Gavin, brothers Sheldan Leppala, Dalton Leppala, Dillon Leppala, nephew, Killian Leppala, grandmother, Janice Leppala and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

When God blessed us with you there was a feeling of unconditional love that kept growing through the years. Watching you grow into this incredible young man, who also loved unconditionally. We can’t tell you enough how proud we are of the family man you became. Your sons are like you, loving and kind.

Our hearts are so torn that you're not here son. We’re going to miss having conversations, laughs, and creating more memories with you. Instead, we’ll create memories with the boys in your honor. You will see us again Corey, until then just know you will be forever missed, and you are forever loved. Love Mom and Dad.
