Claudia Bruno Castle, 68, of New Vineyard, Maine, died July 25, 2021 at her home after a long illness. She was born Nov. 27, 1952 in Torrington, CT, the daughter of Dante and Marie Bruno of Goshen, CT, whom she cherished. She graduated from Wamogo Regional High and later married Stanley R. Castle in April of 1971. They had a son, Jason on Jan. 5, 1972.
Claudia was a very hard working, very loving, devoted wife and mother. She loved animals. She also enjoyed her retirement home that she and Stanley designed and built in New Vineyard in 2009. They have lived there ever since.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Claudia is survived by her husband of over fifty years, their son Jason and his wife Mellisa of Torrington CT, their grandson Mike and his wife Jaime, and a great-grandson Jaxon, all of Litchfield, CT. Her brother Frank Bruno of Goshen CT. who, for reasons of his own, cut all ties with her when her mother died.
Cremation cared for by Wiles Remembrance Center: Adams-McFarlane Chapel 137 Farmington Falls Rd. Farmington. At Claudia’s request there will be no services. She wished to have her ashes remain on the land she so dearly loved and simply have the family gather there in New Vineyard to say their final goodbye’s.
