Obituary for Bonita Latham

NORTH ANSON – Bonita Marie Latham died on Sept. 22, 2022.

Bonita was born to Roland Henri and Gertrude Evangaline (Morgan) Chicoine on April 15, 1942 at her home in Livermore Falls. Bonita worked as an evening shift supervisor in the drug rehabilitation program at FFH in Newtown, CT, as well as a lead rehabilitation counselor in the women's substance abuse program at CVH in Middletown, CT where she retired at age 55. She later moved back to Maine where she purchased her dream home in North Anson, overlooking the Carrabassett River where she remained until she passed with her beloved dogs.

She had a son, Troy L. Latham, born and died on August 3, 1962.

Survivors include her daughter Tammylee (Latham) Tryon; Grandchildren, Shealee (Barker) Jackson, Dylon Barker, and Llacey Tryon; Great grandchildren, Hailey Jackson, Adrian Jackson and Ashleigh Roberts; She is also survived by her sister RoLinda Chicoine and several nieces and nephews. Bonita was predeceased by her sister, Muriel Louise Chicoine, brother, David Morgan Chicoine, brother, Bernard Everett Kilbreth II, sister, Alice (Kilbreth) Durgin, and her sister Madeline Urquhart.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 9th at 10 a.m. at the Village Cemetery in Turner.
