Augusta – Benjamin W. Wilson, 87, of Livermore, died late Wednesday evening at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. He was born in Woodstock, ME, Nov. 9, 1935, a son of Shirley and Clara (Estes) Wilson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as a truck driver, first for Ferland’s Dairy in Mexico and later at DeCoster Egg Farms for 25 years. He most recently had worked as a truck driver for the Town of Livermore. In 1966, he married Linda Timberlake and the made their home in Livermore for over 50 years. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his son with whom he had a very close relationship.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of Livermore; son, Mark Wilson and wife Jo of Oakland; grandson, Michael and 2 great-grandchildren.
Private family interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Brettuns in the spring. Memories may be shared at www.wilesrc.com. Cremation care has been cared for by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Jay.
