Obituary for Barbara Huff

Auburn – Barbara Lynn Gallant Huff, 69, of Auburn, formerly of Livermore Falls died Thursday morning at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in Livermore Falls, December 4, 1952, a daughter of Adrien and Alberta (Hickey) Gallant and received her education in local schools. She enjoyed reading, waking, and horseback riding and especially loved her horse Rebel and her cat, Maude. She loved animals, swimming at Round Pond in her younger years, and snowmobiling.

Barbara made her home at Bolster Heights for many years as she dealt with schizophrenia from the age of 18 until the time of her passing.

She is survived by her sisters, Michelle Riley and Sheila Walls and her husband, Nelson; nephews, Kirk and his wife, Deb, Shawn Riley and his wife Tina, Ted Walls and his wife, Aizhan; and a niece, Carrie Walls Gervais and her husband, Mike.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Jay with interment to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
