Obituary for Anita Lemay (Wing)
Anita J. Lemay, 67, of Peru. It is with broken hearts that we are writing that she has passed away suddenly on May 6, 2021 with the love of her life Joseph A. Lemay by her side. She was born on April 17, 1954, in Rumford, the daughter of George and Jennie (Downs) Wing.
She loved to spend time with her children and her grandchildren. She loved to knit and was always making something for the ones she loved. She may have been small in stature but that did not limit her big personality from shining through. She had the biggest heart, and made many sacrifices in her own life to help others. She was always there to lend a helping hand or to just listen when you needed it. Although she will be greatly missed, we are left with all of the wonderful memories that we shared.
Anita is survived by her husband Joseph, her two children, Michael Lemay and wife Theresa, and daughter Stephanie Crosby and husband James, as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved endlessly. Her brothers Leonard Wing, and his wife Sandee, George Wing Jr, and his wife Olga, sisters Annette Thomas and her husband Steven, and Debra Comeau and her husband Allen.
Anita was predeceased by both her parents, sister Bonita Thomas and her daughter Angela Lemay.
